Material Characteristics
- Excellent corrosion resistance in reduction, oxidation, nitric, and other media
- Superior stress corrosion cracking resistance at both room temperature and high temperature
- Excellent corrosion resistance to dry chlorine and chlorine hydride
- Outstanding mechanical properties at sub-zero, room, and high temperatures
- Good anti-creep rupture strength, recommended for 700°C or above working environments

Custom Processing Options
Customers can select various processing options to produce Inconel 600 plate to exact specifications, reducing material costs, production time, scrap, and internal handling. We can polish nearly any Inconel 600 plates, sheets, coils, and strips to #4, #6, #7, or #8 mirror finish, on one or both sides.
Quality Assurance
Test pieces are cut from each plate, sheet, coil, and strip and sent to our Metallurgical Laboratory. Using a computerized Certificate of Test system, experts verify if materials meet all requirements for shipment. Each piece is analyzed on an optical emission spectrometer to verify chemical content, with microstructure examined for strength, ductility, and corrosion resistance. All additional scrap is separated by grade and returned to a melt shop for recycling.
